The Direct FUE hair transplant method is a delicate procedure, which is performed under local anesthesia and takes about 6-7 hours. You will be fully conscious, and not feel any discomfort during the treatment. After the completion of design stage by the doctor in charge, then local anesthesia will be performed into the donor area of the head through injection, and then the desired number of grafts will be extracted one by one with the special tools, called punch. The method applied for the extraction ensures that there will be little to zero visual thinning of the donor site density. During extraction, the grafts are preserved in the best possible conditions.

The doctor, then, applies partial local anesthesia to the bald area and inserts the grafts one by one with special instruments. These tools are called Choi Implanters, and have a diameter of less than 0.9mm. This allows us to avoid creating slits or holes beforehand, ensuring zero scarring with a 100% natural result. The procedure is completed when all the grafts have been inserted.

After the anesthetic has worn off, you will feel your head a little irritated and your skin will feel tight, but these symptoms will disappear in a few hours.

After two weeks, it is expected that the implanted hair will start to fall out. New hair will start to grow from the root and will be visible within the first 3 months, and will continue to grow like your normal hair.

If you have an office job, then from the next day you can continue working. If you have a physical job that may stress your body and head, or requires you to wear protective head gear then it is recommended that you return after 1 week. Further instructions will be given to you by the doctor.
